1. The competition is open to all Undergraduate & Postgraduate Colleges.
2. All the members of the group have to be from the same college
3. One winner from each competition will be selected along with second runners-up.
4. Entry forms must be completed in block letters.
5. A parent/guardian must authorize and sign the entry form of those entrants who are 16 years of age and under. Entries without this authorization signature will not be considered. By signing the entry form, the parent or legal guardian confirms that they have read the competition rules and that their child’s submission/s abide/s by these rules
6. Photocopies of the entry form are acceptable.
7. All entries submitted for the competition must be the original idea and creation of the entrant.
8. Copying of any pre-existing design is not acceptable, whether visually or by tracing. Coloring an outlined image printed or drawn by someone else is not acceptable.
9. Entries will be judged on creativity, originality and the entrant’s ability to uniquely capture and convey the theme in their design and or tagline, street play, T- shirt painting, and AV/Film making
10. Digital Poster and T-shirt design submissions must not be framed, matted, laminated or folded.
11. Deadline for submissions of entries is no later than 1pm on Monday 30 thJanuary 2012. Entries received after this time and date will not be considered.
12. All designs and taglines submitted to EMDI becomes the copyright property of EMDI.
13. EMDI will not return any design or tagline and reserves the right to use any submitted entry for publicity purposes.
14. EMDI and/ or the judges may reject any entry it considers inappropriate for any reason without explanation.
15. The judges may disqualify any entry without explanation if evidence suggests the entry is in breach of the competition rules.
16. Prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered. Arrangements for the fulfillment of prizes will be made by EMDI.
17. The judges’ decision is final. There is no obligation on EMDI nor the judges to provide an explanation for their decision.
18. Use of vulgar language and expletives is prohibited. Points may be deducted for the same based on judge's discretion.
19. Prize distribution to be held on 5th February after the DJ/Rock Nite at the Bandra Fort Ampitheatre. Winners List will be put on the SWAT website www.smokefreeworld.net and in the print media during the last week of February 2012. Only the names of winners (but no other personal information) may be disclosed in the public domain.
20. EMDI accepts no responsibility for entries lost, delayed, misdirected, damaged or undelivered. Incomplete and/or illegible entries will be disqualified. The EMDI shall not be responsible for technical errors in telecommunications networks, Internet access or otherwise preventing entry to this competition.
