About SWAT (Students Working Against Tobacco)
SWAT was launched on 28 October, 2004 by the students of EMDI. This is a youth oriented initiative working to educate, curtail, and endow youngsters to fight against the most powerful killer TOBACCO. Our objective is not to alienate users of tobacco, but to show them how their urge to use tobacco can be controlled, by way of creative activities like sports. Through this event we will communicate to the youth that, the use of tobacco is a habit which is controllable and with a positive take on life YOU CAN QUIT! SWAT' endeavor is to make "staying tobacco free, positively cool".
